A €36,000 donation to fund the purchase of a second minibus
At a cheque presentation held this Thursday, 13 August, in Monaco, in the presence of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and Mr Louis Ducruet, SoftConstruct formalized its support for the Fight Aids France endowment fund with a €36,000 donation to fund the purchase of a second minibus for Fight Aids – Maison de Vie, in Carpentras.
The donation reflects SoftConstruct's broader social responsibility policy. The Yerevan-based technology company is regularly recognized in Armenia for its civic engagement and the charitable initiatives it supports.
The new vehicle will strengthen the resources available to the Carpentras facility, helping residents get around more easily and bringing greater flexibility to the day-to-day logistics of their stays.
Opened in June 2010, the Maison de Vie welcomes people living with HIV from across France for respite and wellness stays. Designed as a place where everyone can take the time to breathe, reconnect with themselves and take care of their well-being, it has welcomed more than 2,000 people since it opened.
Its operations and the development of its projects are made possible in large part by the support of the Fight Aids France endowment fund, whose mission is to mobilize the generosity of donors and private partners in support of people living with HIV.
The Maison de Vie grew out of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco's long-standing commitment to the fight against HIV. Founder and President of Fight Aids Monaco since 2004, she set out to create a different kind of place, built entirely around the individual and their needs. The Maison de Vie opened its doors in Carpentras in 2010 and was inaugurated in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
The presence of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie and Mr Louis Ducruet at the cheque presentation underscores SoftConstruct's commitment and the significance of this new support for Fight Aids France and the Maison de Vie.
